AzerTurkBank's total liabilities in 1H2020 decrease

Azerbaijan’s AzerTurkBank OJSC decreased its total liabilities by 3.5 percent in the first half of 2020 compared to the late 2019, Trend reports citing the bank’s balance sheet.

According to the sheet, the total liabilities dropped by 10.3 million manat ($6 million) up to 281.7 million manat ($165.7 million).

In the structure of liabilities, a significant share (58 percent) accounted for deposits, which shrank by 0.9 percent from the early 2020 up to 163.4 million manat ($96.1 million).

Meanwhile, most (nearly 55.8 percent) of the deposits accounted for those ones of legal persons, which decreased by 15.6 percent on semi-annualized basis to 191.8 million manat ($112.8 million). The deposits of individuals amounted to slightly over 72.1 million manat ($42.4 million), remaining almost unchanged since the beginning of the year.

Liabilities to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, state funds, credit organizations and other financial institutions made up nearly113.8 million manat ($66.9 million), increasing by 11.2 percent since the early 2020.

Other liabilities amounted to 4.6 million manat ($2.7 million).

According to the sheet, the bank’s share capital did not change from the early 2020 and remained equal to 50 million manat ($29.4 million). The bank’s retained earnings amounted to 3.7 million manat ($2.1 million). Total reserves made up 2.1 million manat ($1.2 million), and hereby showed an increase of 0.5 percent.

Total capital of the bank in the first half of this year amounted to 55.7 million manat ($32.76 million) against 55.6 million manat ($32.71 million) in the late 2019.
