A forecast of the total volume of revenues and expenditures of the main financial plan of Turkmenistan for 2021 was made in accordance with the results of the analysis of information received from ministries and industry departments of the country, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenistan’s State News Agency.
This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Gadyrgeldy Mushshikov to President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during the working meeting.
Turkmenistan’s GDP at current prices will amount to 174.7 billion Turkmen manat ($49.8 billion) according to the draft state budget of Turkmenistan for the coming year.
A significant part of the funds will be directed to the development of social spheres, in particular, education, health, culture, the state social security system, housing and communal services, and general public services.
So, the amount of salaries, pensions, state benefits, and student scholarships will increase by 10 percent next year in 2021.
In the coming year, it is planned to allocate certain amounts of capital investment for the construction of buildings and industrial and socio-cultural facilities.
As reported, Turkmenistan's GDP increased by 5.8 percent from January through September, compared to the same period last year.
According to the results of the analysis of indicators for ministries and industry departments, the volume of products manufactured from January through September increased by 4.2 percent compared to the same period in 2019.
