Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan reveals data on GDP

The volume of GDP of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic amounted to 2.29 billion manat ($1.34 billion) from January through October 2020, showing a growth of 0.9 percent compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports citing the report of Nakhchivan’s State Statistical Committee.

The GDP per capita indicator in Nakhchivan for the mentioned period reached 4,978 manat ($2,923), having increased by 1.9 percent over the year.

“Industry ranks first in terms of its share in Nakhchivan’s GDP. The industrial products were produced in the amount of 900.2 million manat ($529.5 million), while a year earlier the industrial production figure was 1.3 percent less,” said the report.

At the same time, as part of investments in fixed assets, 859.1 million manat ($505.3 million) was allocated from all financial sources of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, showing a growth of 1 percent year on year.

From January through October 2019, the GDP of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic was 2.23 billion manat ($1.31 billion).
