Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Finance to provide Uzbek banks with funds for family entrepreneurship dev’t

The Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan will allocate one trillion soums ($96.5 million), attracted by placing Eurobonds, to three Uzbek banks for the development of family entrepreneurship, Trend reports with reference to the press service of the President of Uzbekistan
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev gave relevant instructions on November 24 during a video conference call.
It was noted during the meeting that entrepreneurs need loans in the amount of one trillion soums ($96.5 million) for the implementation of new projects.
"The Ministry of Finance has been instructed to place one trillion soums in the People's Bank, Microcreditbank and Agrobank as resources for family business programs, attracted through the issuance of Eurobonds," the press service of the President of Uzbekistan said.
The People's Bank was instructed to prepare projects on women's entrepreneurship, train women in doing business. It is indicated that at the same time, bank employees should directly help promising business ladies, including going to places.
