The gross domestic product (GDP) of Azerbaijan decreased by 4.3 percent from January through November 2020, compared to the same period of 2019, amounting to 64.7 billion manat ($38.05 billion), Trend reports citing the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee.
According to the committee, value-added in the oil and gas sector of the economy decreased by 2.9 percent, and in the non-oil sector - by 6.5 percent from January through November 2020.
In the mentioned period, GDP per capita made up almost 6,480 manat ($3,811), a decrease of 11.3 percent year on year.
The volume of Azerbaijan's GDP amounted to 58.5 billion manat ($34.4 billion) from January through October 2020 which is 3.8 percent less than in the same period of 2019.
