Azerbaijan's consolidated budget revenues to increase next year

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Dec. 21

The revenues of Azerbaijan's consolidated budget for 2021 are projected at over 23.8 billion manat ($14 billion), which is 1.46 billion manat ($858.8 million) or 6.6 percent more than in 2020, Trend reports with reference to the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan.

According to the ministry data, the projected expenditures of the consolidated budget will surpass 31.1 billion manat ($18.2 billion), which is 855 million manat ($502.9 million) or 2.8 percent more than this year.

The deficit of the 2021 consolidated budget is projected to be 7.33 billion manat ($4.33 billion), which is 610.1 million manat ($358.8 million) or 7.7 percent less than in 2020, the ministry said.

Next year, the deficit in the country will be equal to 9.7 percent of projected GDP, 1.4 percentage points less than in the current year, the report said.
