The Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Azerbaijan increased by 2.8 percent in 2020 compared to 2019, Trend reports on Jan.14 referring to the Azerbaijani State Statistical Committee.
The CPI for food, drinks, and tobacco products rose by 5 percent, non-food products - by 1.3 percent, and the paid services to the population - by 1 percent.
The CPI in the country grew by 0.8 percent in December 2020 compared to the previous month, and by 2.6 percent compared to December 2019.
