Iran's foreign debts decrease

Iran's foreign debt decreased by 0.01 percent at the end of the 9th month of the current Iranian year (November 21 through December 20, 2020), compared to the end of the 8th month (October 22 through November 20, 2020), Trend reports citing the report of Central Bank of Iran (CBI).

According to the report, Iran's foreign debts amounted to 7.62 billion euro at the end of the 9th month. While in the 8th month, Iran's foreign debts amounted to 7.89 billion euro.

“Iran's foreign debt in the short-term amounted to 1.61 billion euro, and in the long-term - 6 billion euro at the end of the 9th month,” the report said.

In addition, Iran's foreign debts in US dollars were $9.34 billion, the report said.
