2020 had a negative impact on many sectors of the Azerbaijani economy, including consulting services, Director of "Azecoconsulting" company Aydin Hasanov told Trend on Feb. 24.
“The number of people applying for preferential loans has increased thanks to the programs of the Azerbaijani government to support entrepreneurship, carried out both last year and this year,” Hasanov added. “So, accordingly, the number of appeals to the consulting organizations also increased.”
As for the obstacles to the development of consulting services, Hasanov stressed that there are no problems in this sphere.
“However, some Azerbaijani businessmen in most cases believe that they do not need consulting services,” director of the company added. “Of course, this creates some problems in development and improvement of this market. In general, the consulting market has been changing for the better recently.”
Hasanov also stressed that if one talks about state organizations, then it is possible to see the fact that no funds are allocated for consulting.
“Appeals arise in case of receiving grants,” director of the company said.
"As in previous years, our company carries out extensive work to disseminate the information about consulting services among entrepreneurs and also contributes to the development of consulting in Azerbaijan," Hasanov added.
