The cost of paid services rendered to the population in Azerbaijan's Baku city decreased by 35.6 percent in January 2021 compared to the same month of 2020, Trend reports, referring to the Baku City Statistical Department.
According to the department, the volume of paid services made up 306.4 million manat ($180.2 million).
Legal entities rendered services to the population in the amount of 203.7 million manat ($119.8 million), which is 66.5 percent of the total cost of services.
The average monthly nominal wages of employees amounted to 927.2 manat ($545.4), increasing by 6.9 percent on an annualized basis.
Earlier, the Baku City Statistical Department reported that the cost of paid services rendered to the population in Azerbaijan's Baku city decreased by 29.6 percent in 2020 compared to 2019, making up over 4.3 billion manat ($2.5 billion).
