Turkmenistan's GDP growth rate was 5.9 percent from January through February 2021, Trend reports, citing the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

The volume of production increased by 3.3 percent from January through February 2021, compared to the same period last year.

The volume of retail trade turnover in comparison with the corresponding period in 2020 increased by 17.6 percent.

During this period, the plan for the revenue part of the state budget was exceeded by 52.9 percent, and for the expenditure part - by 85.2 percent.

The size of the average salary in large and medium-sized enterprises of the country increased by 10.4 percent.

During the reporting period, as part of the implementation of the National Rural Program (in the new version), construction of facilities and structures, housing, water treatment facilities, as well as engineering systems was carried out throughout the country.

The volume of production increased by 4.1 percent in January 2021, compared to the same period last year.

The volume of retail trade turnover in comparison with the corresponding period in 2020 increased by 17.8 percent.

In January 2021, the plan for the revenue part of the state budget was exceeded by 78.9 percent, and for the expenditure part - by 83.1 percent.

The size of the average salary in large and medium-sized enterprises of the country increased by 10.4 percent.
