The volume of loans issued to the public organizations in January 2021 amounted to 19.2 million manat ($11.3 million) in Azerbaijan, Trend reports citing statistics from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
According to the CBA, this figure is by 50.4 percent (19.5 million manat or $11.5 million) less than in January 2020.
The share of lending to this sector in lending to the real sector amounted to 0.1 percent, decreasing by 0.1 percentage points compared to the same period of 2020.
In general, the volume of lending to the real sector in January 2021 amounted to 14.6 billion manat ($8.6 billion). The biggest share of loans in Azerbaijan during the reporting period accounted for households, amounting to 46.5 percent or 6.8 billion manat ($4 billion) of the total volume of lending to the real sector.
