Azerbaijan's GDP growth is projected at 2.3 percent in 2021, despite a decrease of 4.3 percent in 2020, Trend reports citing the ‘World Economic Outlook’ report of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
According to IMF forecasts, Azerbaijan's economy will grow by 1.7 percent in 2022.
Earlier, Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan, Mikayil Jabbarov, announced the task of doubling the country's GDP by 2030 in accordance with the new 10-year development plan.
In the October release of the IMF World Economic Outlook, Azerbaijan's GDP growth for 2021 was projected at 2 percent.
