The total liabilities of Azerbaijan’s ASB Bank in the first quarter of 2021 decreased, compared to the same period in 2020 by 2.7 percent (22 million manat or $12.9 million) to 784.3 million manat ($461.3 million), Trend reports citing the bank's financial report.
A big share (78.4 percent) in the structure of liabilities accounted for deposits, which also decreased by four percent for the year, amounting to 615.06 million manat ($361.8 million).
The deposits of credit organizations and other financial institutions increased by 0.9 percent and amounted to 114.3 million manat ($67.2 million).
Other liabilities are estimated at 13.6 million manat ($8 million, an increase of 46.7 percent).
In accordance with the report, the bank's share capital has not changed and amounted to 60 million manat ($35.3 million).
Retained earnings reached 38.5 million manat ($22.6 million), an increase of 9.6 percent for the year.
The bank's capital reserves amounted to 6.4 million manat ($3.8 million, an increase of 9.3 percent).
The aggregate capital of ASB Bank for the first quarter of 2021 amounted to 104.9 million manat ($61.7 million), an increase of 3.9 percent on an annual basis.
