The Money Supply Rate (М2) in Azerbaijan made up 20.32 billion manat ($11.95 billion) in March 2021, which is 23.6 percent more than in the same month of 2020, Trend reports referring to the statistical bulletin of Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
According to the CBA, on an annual basis, the amount of Cash Money Supply (M0) increased by 24.1 percent up to 10.59 billion manat ($6.23 billion), Broad Money Supply (M3) rose by 9.6 percent to 29.3 billion manat ($17.2 billion), and Transaction money (M1) grew by 27.5 percent, up to 17.63 billion manat ($10.37 billion).
