Georgia publishes budget performance report of 1Q2021

Georgian budget performance report of 1Q2021 was published, Trend reports via Georgian government administration.

According to the document, the state budget received 430 million lari ($124.9 million) from the profit tax from January through March, which is 94.5 percent of 1Q2020 plan.

The volume of profit tax paid by the banking sector amounted to 33 million lari ($9.5 million).

The budget received 779.5 million lari ($226.4 million) from the income tax in 1Q2021, which is 98 percent of 1Q2021 plan.

Revenues from VAT have made up 976.4 million lari ($283.6 million), which is 98 percent of 1Q2021 plan. The state budget received revenue of 306.7 million lari ($89.1 million) from excise tax, which is 137 percent of 1Q2021 plan.

In total, 2.66 billion lari ($772.7 million) has been collected in the budget from taxes, which is 100.3 percent of the plan.

The 2021 budget is planned with a 4.3 percent economic growth.
