Central Bank of Azerbaijan’s liabilities to IMF increase

The obligations of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) on operations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) increased by 4.3 percent in 2020 compared to 2019, Trend reports on April 29 with reference to the financial report of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

These obligations amounted to 378.5 million manat ($222.6 million).

During the reporting period, the CBA's liabilities to other international financial institutions decreased by 2.9 percent and amounted to 1.4 million manat ($823,529).

The total capital of the CBA decreased by 37 percent and amounted to 1.6 billion manat ($941 million) while capital reserves amounted to 527 million manat ($310 million) in 2020 remaining unchanged on an annualized basis.
