Turkmenistan reveals its GDP growth

Turkmenistan’s GDP growth rate was 6.1 percent from January through May 2021, Trend reports, citing the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

The volume of products manufactured in Turkmenistan increased by 5.3 percent from January through May 2021, compared to the same period of 2020.

The volume of retail trade increased by 17.5 percent in the reporting period.

From January through May 2021, the revenue part of Turkmenistan's State Budget was exceeded at the level of 20.4 percent, and the expenditure part was fulfilled at the level of 92.2 percent.

Compared to the corresponding period last year, the average monthly salary increased by 10.5 percent.

The volume of products manufactured in Turkmenistan increased by 3.8 percent from January through April 2021, compared to the same period last year.

The volume of retail trade increased by 17.5 percent during the reporting period, compared to January through April 2020.

The plan for the revenue part of the state budget was exceeded by 28.3 percent, while the expenditure part was implemented – by 96 percent.

The average monthly salary increased by 10.5 percent in comparison with the corresponding period in 2020.

Turkmenistan saw an increase of 2.3 percent in the volume of disbursed investments from all sources of financing in the reporting period, in comparison with the same period last year.
