The average monthly nominal salary of employees in Baku decreased by 5.9 percent in the first 4 months of 2021 compared to the same period of 2020 and amounted to 944.6 manat ($555.6), Trend reports citing the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan.
At the end of the first quarter of 2021, this figure was at the level of 927.1 manat ($545.3).
In 2020, the nominal salary of employees in Baku increased by 6.9 percent compared to 2019 and amounted to 927.2 manat ($545.4).
