Liabilities of Azerbaijan's Bank BTB increase as of 2Q2021

The total liabilities of Azerbaijan's Bank BTB increased by 1.3 percent and amounted to 300.05 million manat ($176.5 million) as of the second quarter of 2021, Trend reports citing the bank's balance sheet.

A big share (51.7 percent) in the structure of liabilities accounted for the loans allocated to the financial institutions, which increased by 22.9 percent compared to the same period of last year up to 155.2 million manat ($91.3 million).

About 41 percent of total liabilities accounted for long-term deposits of clients in the amount of 122.9 million manat $72.3 million (an increase of 48.5 percent).

The demand deposits, having decreased by 69.5 percent, amounted to 15.7 million manat ($9.2 million).

Bank BTB's liabilities to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan decreased by 2.8 percent for the year and amounted to 2.9 million manat ($1.7 million).

Other liabilities decreased by 19.1 percent to 2.8 million manat ($1.6 million).

The special capital of Bank BTB decreased by 14 percent for the year to 52.02 million manat ($30.6 million).

The bank's total capital in the second quarter amounted to 54.9 million manat ($32.3 million), decreasing by 14.2 percent for the year.
