The surplus of the state budget of Azerbaijan amounted to 164.5 million manat ($96.7 million) in the first half of 2021, Trend reports citing the report of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Finance.
The obligations adopted by the Treasury Agencies on the expenditure orders submitted by budgetary organizations during the reporting period were funded in full and timely, the ministry noted.
Along with this, in the first half of the year, Azerbaijan attracted 107.2 million manat ($63 million) within credit agreements signed with foreign organizations, and 774 million manat ($455.3 million) - from the sale of government bonds to investors.
The revenues of the consolidated budget of the country in the first half of the year equal to 15.3 billion manat or $9 billion (growth by 23.9 percent in annual terms), expenses to 12.7 billion manat ($7.47 billion).
