The Agency for the Management of State Assets of Uzbekistan has agreed to sell a 57.118-percent stake in "Coca-Cola Bottlers Uzbekistan, Ltd" LLC to "Coca-Cola İçecek A.Ş." (CCI), through its fully owned subsidiary - "CCI International Holland B.V.", Trend reports with reference to Uzbek media.
The price of the sale is $252.28 million.
The transaction was approved by the State Commission for Conducting Tender Auctions for the Sale of state property.
Coca-Cola Ichimligi Uzbekistaniston Ltd. plans to invest $31 million in Uzbekistan in 2020-2021.
The decision on the investment was made based on the data of our researches of Uzbekistan’s domestic market of soft drinks, conducted in cooperation with foreign analysts.
