Non-oil revenues of the state budget of Azerbaijan increased by 12.4 percent or 650.2 million manat ($382.4 million) in the first half of 2021, compared to the same period of 2020, Trend reports citing the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan.
According to the ministry, non-oil revenues of the state budget amounted to 5.89 billion manat ($3.46 million), exceeding the forecast by 11.8 percent to 619.6 million manat ($364.4 million).
“Receipts from the State Tax Service amounted to 53.9 percent of the total non-oil budget revenues, the State Customs Committee - 34.6 percent. Extra-budgetary receipts from budgetary organizations amounted to 4.7 percent of total non-oil revenues, the State Property Service under the Ministry of Economy - 0.1 percent, and other receipts - 6.7 percent,” the ministry said.
The revenues of the State Budget of Azerbaijan in the first half of the year amounted to 11.7 billion manat ($6.88 billion), expenses - 11.5 billion manat ($6.76 billion). Thus, the state budget in the first half of the year was executed with a surplus of 164.5 million manat ($96.7 million), or 0.4 percent of GDP.
