Some 1,198 transactions with securities took place at Uzbekistan’s Republican Stock Exchange (RSE) "Toshkent" in a period from Aug. 23 through Aug. 27, which is 9.5 percent less than last week, Trend reports citing Uzbek media.
Securities of "Quartz" rose to $0.36 (+ 7.55 percent) while Shares of Sredazenergosetproekt rose by 4.64 percent or to $1.38.
Kizilkumcement's growth was recorded at $0.58 (+ 3.32 percent). The Uzbek Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange (UZEX) rose in price to $1.53 per share (+ 0.60 percent).
Some stocks fell in value over the week. Among them are the preferred securities of Almalyk MMC, which decreased by 14.29 percent to $1.13. Kuvasaycement decreased by 5.13 percent and amounted to $66.8. Uzmetkombinat fell to $8.18 per share (-3.18 percent).
Trading volume at the RSE within the mentioned period reached $573,309, which is 3.4 percent higher than the previous week. The first place in terms of the amount of transactions was taken by the shares of the fat and oil company Yog'gar ($253,760).
