Azerbaijan’s PASHA Bank reveals assets growth for 1H2021

The total assets of Azerbaijan’s PASHA Bank in the first half of 2021 increased by seven percent compared to the same period last year, Chief Financial Officer, Executive Board Member at PASHA Bank OJSC Bahruz Nagiyev said at a conference entitled "Financial Indicators of PASHA Bank for the First Half of the Year", Trend reports.

"We maintain the status of the largest commercial bank in Azerbaijan in terms of assets. Our assets have increased by about seven percent. Customer accounts have grown by 14 percent. The bank's total assets in the first half of 2020 exceeded 4.831 million manats ($2.8 million). At the end of 2020, this figure exceeded 5.5 million manats ($3.2 million), and in the first half of 2021 - 5.92 million manats ($3.5 million)," Nagiyev said.

He also said that the volume of loans issued by the bank increased by four percent.

"Thus, in the first half of 2020, the bank issued loans in the amount of almost two million manats ($1.2 million), last year - more than 2.163 million manats ($1.272 million), and in 1H2021 - almost 2.26 million manats ($1.32 million)," Nagiyev said.

According to the results of 1H2021, the authorized capital of PASHA Bank amounted to 354.5 million manats ($208 million).
