The amount of loans issued by Bank Keshavarzi Iran increased by 52 percent, during the first seven months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through October 22, 2021), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports citing the bank’s website.
According to the report, the bank has issued about 550 trillion rials (about $13 billion) worth of loans over the reporting period.
The loans were issued to about 421,680 people.
Within 7 months, 70 percent of loans were issued as working capital, as well as to decrease liquidity, compensation for losses and improvement of manufacturing enterprises.
“Meanwhile, 30 percent of loans were issued for the setting up of new manufacturing enterprises,” the report said.
