The Iranian government is set to increase the minimum monthly salaries in the budget bill for the next Iranian year (to start March 21, 2022), Trend reports citing Fars News Agency.
The budget details indicate the minimum monthly wage for official employees is to increase from 35 million rials (about$833) to 45 million rials ( about $1,071).
The monthly salaries are to increase by 10 percent, and the salary tax exemption ceiling will increase from 45 million rials (about $1,071) to 50 million rials (about $1,190) next year.
The government will submit the budget bill to the parliament by December 6.
