Iran sees increase in foreign investments

TEHRAN, Iran, Dec.14


Iran is approving 175 foreign investment projects from 21 countries valued at $3.3 billion, said the government spokesman, Trend reports citing IRNA.

A total of $268 million was invested in Iran by foreign investors, Ali Bahadori Jahromi noted.

Following good interactions with neighboring countries, a considerable sum of assets was released, he indicated.

The government's effort is to utilize all the capacities in the country and create trust in people and implement all its promises.

The new administration's achievements in recent months included Iran's permanent membership in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the gas swap deal with Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan.
