The overall index of the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) dropped by 25,679 points to 1.336 million, on January 9, Trend reports citing Fars News Agency.
Over 4.8 billion shares valued at $655 million changed hands at TSE for the day.
The TSE index has been on the downfall, dropping 751 points on the preceding day.
Meanwhile the indices of Persian Gulf Petrochemical Co., Mobarakeh Steel Co., Parsian Oil and Gas Development Co., National Copper Industrial Co., Pars Petrochemical Co., Ghadir Investment Company, and Nouri Petrochemical company had the most negative impact on TSE on Jan. 9.
The overall index of the Farabourse dropped by 256 points to 18,117.
