Turkmenistan-Belarus trade turnover fell in 11M2021

Turkmenistan-Belarus trade turnover reached $19.28 million in January through November 2021, a 19 percent decrease from the reporting period in 2020, Trend reports via National Statistics Office of Belarus (Belstat).

Turkmenistan’s exports to Belarus increased by 37.8 percent totaling $6.38 million in 11M2021.

According to the data, Turkmenistan’s imports from Belarus fell by 33 percent during the reporting period totaling $12.89 million.

Turkmenistan’s major exports to Belarus included wool, cotton and other fabrics, polyethylene and polypropylene bags, cotton yarn, carpets, clothes and linens.

Belarus, in turn, exported various types of canned foods, fish, sugar, cacao-made products, confectionery products, fruits and vegetables.
