Revenues to the state budget through the State Customs Committee increases in Azerbaijan
The State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan transferred 820.8 million manat ($482.8 million) to the state budget, which is 38.2 percent more than in the same period of 2021, Trend reports citing the State Customs Committee.
Budget revenues from customs duties increased by 23.2 percent during the reporting period, compared from January through February 2021 and amounted to 195.7 million manat ($115.1 million).
Value-added tax (VAT) revenues to the state budget increased by 46.5 percent and amounted to 598.8 million manat ($352.2 million) from January through February 2022.
Revenues from the road tax increased by 45.2 percent and amounted to 8.3million manat ($4.8 million) in the same period.
Revenues from excise duties decreased by 11.4 percent compared to the same period in 2021 and amounted to 17.9 million manat ($10.5 million).
Revenues to the state budget through the State Customs Committee from taxes and duties amounted to 416.8 million manat ($245.1 million) in February 2022, which is 32.2 percent more than in the same month of 2021.
