Iran's foreign debts amounted to $8.47 billion from the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2021) to the end of the 10th month (January 20, 2022), Trend reports via the statistics of Central Bank of Iran (CBI).
According to the statistics, Iran's short-term debt stands at $2.1 billion, while the long-term at $6.37 billion.
In terms of euro, Iran's foreign debt amounted to 7.47 billion euro within the mentioned period. Of this, 1.85 billion euro is short-term debt and 5.62 billion euro is long-term debt, the statistics said.
"Over 10 months (March 21, 2021 through January 20, 2022), Iran's non-oil exports amounted to 100 million tons worth $38.7 billion, while imports amounted to 33.2 million tons worth $41.4 billion," the statistics said.
