BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 30. The total payments of ten Azerbaijani leading insurance companies (ICs) amounted to 35.8 million manat ($21.06 million), or 92.15 percent of the overall insurance payments in January through February 2022, Trend reports citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
During this period, PASHA Insurance topped the ranking in terms of insurance payments with 29.79 percent. The company’s payments for the first two months of 2022 totaled 11.6 million manat ($6.8 million).
PASHA Life with a total amount of payments in the amount of 9.108 million manat, or $5.3 million (23.39 percent of all payments) ranked second, while Xalq Insurance with 3.9 million manat, or $2.29 million (10.02 percent) occupied second place.
The total payments of all Azerbaijan’s insurance companies for January through February 2022 reached 38.9 million manat ($22.89 million).
The CBA disclosed the results of the activity of insurance companies for the reporting period.
