BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 21. Total liabilities of Azerbaijan’s AzerTurkBank increased by 39.21 percent as of March 31, 2022 compared to the same period in 2021, Trend reports citing the bank's balance sheet.

According to the report, the total liabilities of AzerTurkBank increased by 107.5 million manat ($63.2 million) over the year - up to 381.7 million manat ($224.5 million).

A significant share (52.69 percent) in the structure of liabilities was made by deposits, which increased by 22.84 percent over the year - up to 106.1 million manat ($62.4 million). At the same time, the share of deposits of legal entities in the structure of the bank's liabilities amounted to 52.76 percent. Deposits of legal entities grew by 22.84 percent over the year and amounted to 106.1 million manat ($62.4 million).

The share of deposits of individuals in the structure of liabilities of AzerTurkBank amounted to 47.24 percent. The deposits of natural persons increased by 29.16 percent over the year - up to 95.1 million manat ($55.9 million).

Bank's liabilities to credit organizations and other financial institutions increased by 45.63 percent over the year and reached 40.4 million manat ($23.7 million).

The requirements of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Republic (CBAR) increased by 40.89 percent and amounted to 115.4 million manat ($67.8 million), other liabilities increased by 358.53 percent to 21.1 million manat ($12.4 million).

The share capital of the bank amounted to 50 million manat ($29.4 million) as of March 31, 2022, unchanged over the year.

Retained earnings of AzerTurkBank amounted to 4.8 million manat ($2.8 million), which is 5.46 percent more than in 1Q2021. Capital reserves amounted to 2.7 million manat ($1.6 million), and have increased by 51.97 percent over the year.

The total capital of the bank in 1Q2022 amounted to 57.5 million manat ($33.8 million), which has increased by 2.08 percent over the year.
