BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 1. The total payments of ten leading Azerbaijani insurance companies (ICs) amounted to 120.7 million manat ($71 million), or 93.6 percent of the overall insurance payments from January through May 2022, Trend reports via the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
According to the CBA, in the reporting period PASHA Life topped the ranking in terms of insurance payments with 32.17 percent. The company’s payments for the first five months of this year totaled 41.5 million manat ($24.4 million).
PASHA Insurance with a total amount of payments in the amount of 30.18 million manat, or $17.75 million (23.39 percent of all payments) ranked second, while AzerInsurance with 10.41 million manat, or $6.12 million (8.07 percent) took third place.
The total payments of all Azerbaijan’s insurance companies from January through May 2022 reached 129 million manat ($75.8 million).
