BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 22. The balance of funds raised by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) through the note placement in the first half of 2022 amounted to 750 million manat ($441.18 million), Trend reports via the review of CBA monetary policy.
According to the review, in the reporting period, demand exceeded supply at the note placement auctions.
From January through June, the CBA held 42 auctions for the placement of notes. On the notes issued for 84 days, the yield at the last auction was 2.92 percent, on notes for 168 days - 3.5 percent, and for 28 days - 3.78 percent, added the review.
