Azerbaijan’s International Bank total liabilities up in 3Q2022

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 21. Total liabilities of the International Bank of Azerbaijan Republic (IBAR) increased by 35.67 percent as of September 31, 2022 compared to the same period in 2021, Trend reports citing the bank's balance sheet.

According to IBAR, bank’s total liabilities increased over the year by 2.86 billion manat ($1.6 billion) - up to 10.8 billion manat ($6.3 billion).

Significant share (88.8 percent) in the structure of liabilities was made by deposits, which increased by 43.06 percent over the year - up to 9.6 billion manat ($5.6 billion). At the same time, the share of deposits of legal entities in the structure of the bank's deposits amounted to 81.55 percent. Deposits of legal entities in the structure of bank's liabilities increased by 42.9 percent and amounted to 7.8 billion manat ($4.5 billion).

Share of deposits of individuals in the structure of liabilities of IBAR amounted to 18.45 percent. Deposits of natural persons increased by 43.77 percent over the year - up to 1.7 billion manat ($1 billion).

Bank's liabilities to credit organizations and other financial institutions reached 300.7 million manat ($176.8 million).

Bank's liabilities to Azerbaijan’s Central Bank (CBA) decrease by 31.48 percent and amounted to 78.8 million manat ($46.3 million), other liabilities increased up to 210.3 million manat ($123.7 million).

Share capital of IBAR amounted to 1.22 billion manat ($717.6 million) as of September 30, 2022,

Capital reserves of IBAR amounted to 150.2 million manat ($88.3 million), having increased by 16.62 percent over the year. The undistributed profit of the bank amounted to 166.7 million manat ($98 million).

Bank’s total capital in 3Q2022 amounted to 1.55 billion manat ($911.7 million).
