BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 5. Iran's foreign debts have decreased by 0.14 percent by the end of the 5th month of the current Iranian year (August 22, 2022), compared to the period up to the end of the 4th month (July 22, 2022), Trend reports via the statistics of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI).
Iran's foreign debts amounted to about $7.16 billion, as of the end of the 5th month (August 22, 2022) of the current Iranian year.
Meanwhile, as of the end of the 4th month (July 22, 2022), the figure stood at about $7.17 billion.
According to the statistics, Iran's short-term debt stands at about $1.92 billion, while the long-term is at $5.24 billion.
In euros, Iran's foreign debt amounted to about 7.13 billion euros at the end of the 5th month. Of this, 1.91 billion euros is short-term debt, while 5.22 billion euros is long-term debt, the statistics said.
