BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 26. The net profit of Azerbaijan's Azercontract OJSC amounted to 83.523 million manat ($49.1 million) by the end of 2021, Trend reports.
According to the company's financial statements for 2021 under IFRS (the International Financial Reporting Standards), the income from the natural gas sale totaled 1.2 billion manat ($705.9 million), from gas traffic – 25.623 million manat ($15.07 million), while the gas price made up 1.025 billion manat ($602.9 million).
Transportation costs stood at 59.393 million manat ($31.4 million), costs for pumping gas into underground storage facilities – 15.417 million manat ($9.069 million), transit costs – 3.116 million manat ($1.8 million), technological costs – 3.077 million manat ($1.8 million), interest costs – 745,000 manat ($438,249). Meantime, other costs amounted to 435,000 manat ($255,890), and payments income tax totaled 20.874 million manat ($12.279 million).
Profit before tax reached 104.39 million manat ($61.4 million), whereas income tax payments settled at 20.87 million manat ($12.27 million).
At the onset of 2022, Azercontract's total assets equaled 358.377 million manat ($210.8 million), total liabilities – 274.87 million manat ($161.69 million), and the total capital of the company made up 83.504 million manat ($49.1 million).
