BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 1. Tax revenues in Iran amounted to 4.28 quadrillion rials (about $102 billion), during the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through February 19, 2023), Trend reports citing Iranian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance.

Of that amount, 2.66 quadrillion rials (about $63.3 billion) are direct taxes, and 1.62 quadrillion rials (about $38.5 billion) are taxes on goods and services.

Tax revenues from legal entities for the reporting period amounted to 1.75 quadrillion rials (about $41.7 billion) of direct taxes.

Within 11 months, income taxes in the country amounted to 747 trillion rials (about $17.8 billion), while wealth taxes - 146 trillion rials (about $3.47 billion).

Meanwhile, the tax revenues in Iran’s state budget for the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through March 20, 2023) are estimated to reach 4.54 quadrillion rials (about $108 billion).

Iran's budget bill for the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through March 20, 2023) amounting to 36.3 quadrillion rials (about 864 billion dollars) was approved by the country's parliament.

According to the budget bill, the total budget revenues of the Iranian government are foreseen at 15 quadrillion rials (about $358 billion) and the revenues of state-owned companies, state-owned enterprises and banks at 22.3 quadrillion rials (about $531 billion).
