BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 25. Asakabank and Ipoteka-Bank of Uzbekistan entered the top 10 of the rating of the most reliable credit institutions in the CIS, Trend reports with reference to Forbes.
According to the information, the publication ranked banks according to estimates from international rating agencies (Fitch, Moody's, Standard & Poor's). When the number of ratings of rating agencies was equal, the volume of assets was taken into account, and all information was taken from the websites of central banks.
According to Forbes, Citibank Kazakhstan is recognized as the most reliable bank in the CIS. This is the only American bank represented in Kazakhstan, which is part of the Citigroup International Corporation.
Forbes notes that Asakabank was supposed to be privatized before the end of last year, but the EBRD, one of the future shareholders of the bank, recommended not to hurry in the current geopolitical and economic situation.
Uzpromstroybank (13th place), Qishloq Qurilish Bank (14th), National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity of Uzbekistan (15th), Agrobank (17th), Central Bank of Uzbekistan (19th) also got into the top 20 of the rating, and Mikrokreditbank (21st place), Hamkorbank (24th) and Uzbek Kapitalbank (33rd) entered the expanded list of 50 banks.
