BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 27. The total payments of 10 Azerbaijani leading insurance companies amounted to 65.8 million manat ($38.7 million) or 93.45 percent of total insurance payments from January through February 2023, Trend reports via the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
According to CBA, the list of top 10 companies in terms of payments was topped by PASHA Life, which accounted for 46.64 percent of the total insurance payments of all companies. The company's payments amounted to 32.8 million manat ($19.2 million) from January through February 2023.
PASHA Insurance, with total insurance payments of 11.6 million manat or $6.8 million (16.55 percent of all payments), ranked second, and Xalg Insurance, with payments of 5.4 million manat or $3.1 million (7.72 percent) - third.
Total payments of all insurance companies of Azerbaijan in the reporting period amounted to 70.5 million manat ($41.4 million).
