BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 18. Azerbaijan's Kapital Bank OJSC completed the first quarter of 2023 with a net profit of 83.5 million manat ($49.1 million), Trend reports with reference to the bank's financial report.
According to the bank's report, its net interest profit in the reporting period amounted to 142.9 million manat ($84 million). It was formed at the expense of interest income of 166.2 million manat ($97.7 million) with an increase of 18.77 percent in a year, as well as due to interest expenses of 23.2 million manat ($13.6 million).
Furthermore, Kapital Bank's non-interest income amounted to 142.9 million manat ($84 million) with an increase of 18.33 percent over the year. At the same time, as of March 31, 2022, the bank's non-interest expenses reached 131.5 million manat ($77.3 million).
Moreover, profit before taxes and unforeseen expenses related to banking activities reached 103.3 million manat ($60.7 million), while income tax payments totaled 19.8 million manat ($11.6 million).
