BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 26. Azerbaijan's Bank BTB completed the first quarter of 2023 with a net profit of 888,000 manat ($522,352), while in the same period of 2022, the bank had a net loss of 3.2 million manat ($1.8 million), Trend reports with reference to the bank's financial report.
According to the report, the net interest profit of Bank BTB totaled 2.6 million manat ($1.5 million) and was formed at the expense of interest income of 7.2 million manat ($4.2 million) with an increase of 10.8 percent over the year and due to interest expenses of 4.6 million manat ($2.7 million).
Moreover, the non-interest income of Bank BTB amounted to about 1 million manat ($588,235) with an increase of 2.65 percent per year, while the non-interest expenses of the bank reached 3.5 million manat ($2 million).
Bank BTB JSC received a license for banking activities in Azerbaijan in April 2010.
