BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 15. Iranian banks issued loans worth approximately 150 trillion rials (about $3.57 billion) in the agricultural sector of the country, during the first two months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through May 21, 2023) Trend reports.
Of that, 36.4 trillion rials (about $868 million) was issued for the establishment of enterprises and the planting of gardens, and arable lands in the agricultural sector.
Also, 91.9 trillion rials (about $2.19 billion) worth of loans were issued as working capital in the agricultural sector.
The loans worth 17.8 trillion rials (about $425 million) were issued for the development of Iran's agricultural sector of Iran for 2 months.
Moreover, approximately 2.94 trillion rials ($69.9 million) worth of loans were issued for self-employment in the agricultural sector, as well as 708 billion rials (about $16.8 million) for the purchase of personal assets.
In total, the Iranian banks issued loans worth approximately 4.49 quadrillion rials (about $107 billion) in various economic sectors within the first 2 months of the current Iranian year.
