ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, December 13. Dayhanbank State Commercial Bank in Turkmenistan now holds the distinction of having the highest number of POS terminals across the country, Trend reports.
According to the Central Bank of Turkmenistan, Dayhanbank boasts a total of 8,685 POS terminals, securing the top position.
Turkmenistan State Commercial Bank follows closely in second place with 7,819 terminals, while Halkbank Joint-Stock Commercial Bank holds the third spot with 7,815 terminals.
Simultaneously, the majority of Dayhanbank's POS terminals are situated in various regions of Turkmenistan.
Notably, a significant concentration exists in the Lebap region (2,441 terminals), followed by Mary (1,825 terminals), and Dashoguz (1,746 terminals).
