BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 19. Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) wants to attract more private individual investors to the securities market to increase their share in the stock market to 10-15 percent, the head of the Board of Baku Stock Exchange CJSC Ruslan Khalilov said at a press conference, Trend reports.
“We forecast the figure for individual investors for the period 2024-2026 for 165 million manat ($96.9 million)," he emphasized.
Khalilov also mentioned that the BSE is working on improving listing rules.
“We are thinking about the fact that even those companies, which for several reasons do not meet the minimum listing rules and have not proved stability, would have an opportunity to get into our listing after upgrading. Moreover, our work to clarify the listing rules is going in this direction,” the head of the BSE board added.
