Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Babayeva / A delegation from Aztelekom of the Communications and Information Technology Ministry will take part in the 3rd meeting of the Task Group on information technology for the issue of passport visa documents of the Coordinative Council of CIS member-countries on information at the Regional Communication Commonwealth, the Azerbaijani Communication and IT Ministry reported.
The meeting will be held in Kishinev, Moldova on 11 and 12 October. Representatives from the Communication Administration and National State bodies engaged in developing passport-visa regimes, as well as representatives from the CIS Executive Committee and Inter Parliamentary Assembly will attend the meeting.
The participants of the meeting will familiarize with the experience of Moldova in the introduction of the new type of passports, which will envisage biometric data in compliance with ICAO Doc 9303.
Proposals by the Russian Federation regarding technological, polytrophic, special decisions and introduction of a new passport visa regime, aspects of CIS countries and the project of Agreement on cooperation in creation of a state system to develop and control the passport visa regime of the new generation will be considered.
