Azercell Mobile Network Operator Signs New Roaming Agreements

Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr S. Babayeva / Azercell Telecom, a mobile network operator, has put into operation its international roaming service with two operators - Emirates Integrated Telecommunications (GSM 900/1800) from United Arab Emirates and the Spanish company Xfera.

According to the company, this is the fourth roaming agreement with UAE mobile operators and the fifth one with Spanish cellular communications companies. At present Azercell Telecom subscribers make use of the services of Etihad Etilsalat, Turaya and Etisalat from UAE and Amena, Airtel, Telefonica Moviles and Vodafone in Spain.

Up to today Azercell Telecom has concluded 338 roaming agreements with mobile communication operators from 140 countries around the world.
