Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / Vladimir Goncharenko, the ex-Communication and Information Science Minister of Belarus and member of the Svyazinformservice Gmbh management, met with the Azerbaijani Communication and Information Technology Minister, Ali Abbasov, during his visit to Baku from 28 to 30 October.
During the meeting Goncharenko was informed about the projects and work implemented in the information technologies sphere in Azerbaijan, as well as cooperation and prospects of developments. The details of the meeting have not been announced.
Goncharenko was appointed the Belarusian Communication and Information Science Minister in October 1994, and Communication Minister in January 1997. In December 1999 Goncharenko was appointed the manager at the President of Belarusian Republic. Goncharenko took the Communication Minister post again in February 2001.
Goncharenko was born in Sadki village of Kalinkovich region of Gomelsk province in 1942.
